This is a two-year educational stage for students who have completed grade seven (with either success or failure). By the end of this phase, the student has to sit for an official examination in order to obtain the Brevet equivalent, a professional certificate that allows the student to pursue the Baccalaureate vocational phase.

The Holland Codes or the Holland Occupational Themes can be regarded as one of the most important assessments for individual vocational tendencies and interests detection. The aim of this assessment is to distinguish between different individual professional tendencies and different tendency degrees in common interests among individuals.

The test is based on the individual’s preferred profession choice from a list containing various professions.
