This is a three year educational process for students holding a BP degree or its Brevet equivalent (with either success or failure). By the end of this phase, the student has to sit for an official exam in order to obtain the BT vocational degree, equivalent to the Higher Education degree.

A student who has successfully passed the First Secondary academic year is admitted to the second BT year and is eligible to pursue his educational phase (in some of the vocational majors).
